Summary
In response to a question about how to treat compensation (subject to pension contributions or not) for an FBEO SEIU employee who worked on a holiday, staff reached out to the California Public Employees' Retirement System. CalPERS staff reviewed the language of the City's Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the FBEO SEIU, both current and historical, and advised the City to clarify compensation paid to FBEO SEIU employees who work holidays. The City and SEIU met and conferred on the language and agreed to the modification provided in Exhibit A (Side Letter) to the Resolution.
