Summary
The California Public Employees' Retirement Code requires the City to have a publicly adopted and posted Compensation Schedule. The seasonal temporary Parking Enforcement Attendant position's compensation has been at $15.00 per hour since 2011. The current incumbent has returned for a third season, is experienced and has already been outfitted. This will save the City funds training and outfitting a new employee for the position. An increase from $15.00 per hour to $16.00 per hour reflects the added value to the City of contining to hire the experienced incumbent. The Master Salary Rate Compensation Plan attached as "Exhibit A" to the Resolution incorporates all changes to compensation for all City employees.
