Summary

On April 4, 2016, Group II Commercial Real Estate, Inc. submitted an application for a Coastal Development Permit, Use Permit, Design Review and Lot Line Adjustment to develop a new shopping center. The City of Fort Bragg entered into a Professional Service Agreement with Michael Baker International (MBI) to prepare an EIR for the project. MBI completed a Draft EIR, which was made available for public review and comment on March 22, 2018. The original Professional Services Agreement did not include adequate scope to cover the quantity of public comment received on the Draft EIR, and subsequently expired. This proposed Professional Services Agreement authorizes MBI to respond to the comments received on the Draft EIR, and complete a final EIR for the Hare Creek Center project. City costs expended processing the permits for the Hare Creek Center project, including the costs of this agreement with MBI, are paid for through a Developer Deposit Account established by the applicant, Group II Real Estate.
