Approve Release of Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Raw Water Line Replacement Project Design Engineering
Summary
The City needs to improve the reliability of our Raw Water Pipeline which brings fresh water from our surface intakes to our Water Treatment Plant. The full project includes the engineering design and the construction of four (4) phases of pipeline replacement. The FY 2018-2019 budget set aside $400,000 from the Water Enterprise Fund Account No. 651 for the design engineering for the entire raw water system needing replacement, and $682,000 for the first phase of construction. The RFP was presented to the Public Works and Facilities Committee on August 8, 2018. The Committee recommends that the Council release the RFP.
