Receive Visit Fort Bragg Committee Applications, Conduct Makeup Interviews and Select Newly Formed Visit Fort Bragg Committee Members
Summary
Eleven of the fifteen applicants for the Visit Fort Bragg Committee (VFBC) were invited to interview at the regular Community Development Committee meeting on June 26, 2018. Four of the applicants could not make that time and will be interviewed during this special meeting. Two of those may be conducted by phone to accomodate prior scheduling conflicts. Applicants were provided a copy of the interview questions prior to the meetings.
The new VFBC shall consist of five to seven (5-7) members plus the members of this Committee. Those members shall be chosen based on the information in the application as well as interviews by the CDC Committee members. Members shall also be selected to serve either an 18-month term (July 2018 - Dec 2019) or a 30-month term (July 2018 - Dec 2020) to incorporate staggered, revolving terms beginning with the next open application period to be held at the end of 2019. Length of terms can be determined at a later meeting based on feedback from the selected VFB Committee members.
