Summary
The City Council adopted Resolution No. 4070-2018 on February 26, 2018 to submit an application to the Coastal Commission amending the Local Coastal Program (LCP) by revising the Coastal General Plan and Coastal Zoning Map for the parcel at 100 East Ocean View Drive. Staff has subsequently submitted the application to the Coastal Commission, who requested a revision to the resolution adopted by Council. The resolution for consideration replaces language stating that the amendment will take effect automatically upon Coastal Commission approval with new language stating that the Council will have to formally adopt the LCP amendment by ordinance amendment following Coastal Commission approval.
