Linda Ruffing, current Fort Bragg City Manager, will retire effective February 15, 2018. Tabatha Miller, the incoming City Manager, is scheduled to start March 5, 2018. In the interim, an Interim City Manager must be appointed to assume the duties of City Manager. The resolution appoints Scott Schneider, the City's Administrative Services Director, to serve as Interim City Manager during this transition period. Mr. Schneider will receive a temporary 5% increase in pay for "working out of class" until the new City Manager is sworn in. The pay increase will be effective for the pay period beginning on February 18, 2018.
