Adopt City Council Resolution Approving (1) FY 2017/18 C.V. Starr Community Center Operating and Capital Improvement Budget and (2) FY 2017/18 Facility Fee Schedule

On May 30, 2017, the City Council and Mendocino Coast Recreation & Parks District (District) conducted a joint Budget Workshop to review the FY 2017/18 C.V. Starr Community Center (CVSCC) Budget. In accordance with the Operating Agreement betwen the City and the District which governs operation of CVSCC, the District Board reviewed and approved the attached FY 2017/18 Budget at a special meeting on June 22, 2017. In accordance with the Operating Agreement, the City Council has budgetary authority over the CVSCC Budget. The Budget is submitted for Council approval (Exhibit A). The FY 2017/18 Facility Fee Schedule remains unchanged (Exhibitt B). The MCRPD has retained a consultant to prepare a fee study and possible modifications to the Fee Schedule will be brought back for Council and District Board consideration at the mid-year budget review work session
