Adopt City Council Resolution Authorizing the Director of Public Works or City Manager to Sign Right of Way Documents with the California Department of Transportation
Summary
Chestnut Street Multi-Use Trail Project design and funnding approvals are currently underway. Recent requirements for allocating the funding from the California Department of Transportation include right of way certification. The City of Fort Bragg will not gain additional rights of way, but the City will be asking some property owners to allow access to their property during construction. In order to complete the right of way certification document for Caltrans Local Assistance, the signatory for the City needs to be authorized by City Council resolution. This certification process is to be complete by April 15, 2016.
