Summary
On August 10, 2015, the City Council introduced Ordinance 911-2015 which repeals and replaces Chapters 14.08 through 14.40 of Title 14 (Water and Sewer). This will bring Municipal Improvement District No.1 in to compliance with its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. The subject code provisions establish the necessary legal authorities to monitor and enforce wastewater source control standards, restrict discharges of toxic materials to the wastewater collection system and inspect facilities connected to this system.
