Adopt City Council Resolution Designating the Administrative Services Director as the City of Fort Bragg's Alternate Director on the Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund (REMIF) Board of Directors
Summary
The City of Fort Bragg is a member of the Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund (REMIF), a joint powers authority comprised of 15 cities, that provides various services and pooled liability coverages for its members. The City Manager serves as the City of Fort Bragg's representative on the REMIF Board of Directors. In the past, the Assistant City Manager has served as the Alternate to the City Manager on the Board. As the Assistant City Manager position has been eliminated, it is necessary for the Council to designate an alternative classification to serve as the Alternate. The attached resolution would name the Administrative Services Director to serve as the Alternate to the City Manager on the REMIF Board.
