Summary
The City received a claim from attorney Eric R. Peterson on behalf of Lorena Ruth Shea, and it was forwarded to Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund (REMIF) for review and direction. The Claiment sustained injury while crossing the intersection due to alleged "Dangerous and faulty design of an intersection island and signage in the center of Harold Street."
REMIF's General Manager reviewed the claim and recommends that it be placed on the agenda for City Council rejection. A copy of the claim is attached for Council's review. If the claim is rejected by the City Council, the City Clerk will issue the proper notices and advise REMIF of the claim rejection.
