Summary
The Wastewater Treatment Facility West Fencing Project consists of replacing 700 feet of fencing and installing one 4 foot pedestrian gate along the west property boundary. In accordance with the California Public Contract Code, the project was advertised for bid on April 23, 2015 and April 30, 2015.Two bids were received from qualified contractors with the lowest bid received from Humboldt Fence Co. in the amount of $28,895. District staff is satisfied that Humboldt Fence Co. has the proper license as well as the experience and requirements to complete the project as bid. The Project is funded by Wastewater Enterprise Fund appropriations as made in the FY 2014/2015 Budget, Account No. 714-4713-0741. The project is exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act and Title 14, the California Code of Regulations, Section 15302(b). Staff recommends award of the contract to Humboldt Fence Co.
