Approve Scope of Work for Timber Harvesting Operations at City-Owned Property at 19701 Summers Lane
Summary
The City of Fort Bragg is in the process of developing and constructing a 45-acre foot raw water storage reservoir at City-owned property at 19701 Summers Lane (i.e., Newman Gulch property). Prior to constructing the reservoir, services are needed for completion of timber harvesting operations on eight acres. The Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the procurement of a licensed timber operator to complete the work. Funding for the timber harvesting will be provided by a Prop 84 grant for the reservoir. It is anticipated that the marketable timber harvested from the site may offset costs of the timber harvesting operations.
