Title
Receive Recommendation from Finance & Administration Committee and Adopt Resolution Opposing the Fast-Track of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement, TAFTA, and TiSA

Summary
This issue was brought to the City Council's attention by Jessie VanSant at the City Council meeting of February 9, 2015.  Mayor Turner requested staff place the item on the Finance & Administration Committee (FAC) agenda for discussion.  On March 4, 2015, the FAC reviewed the information provided by Ms. VanSant and additional information provided by Jim Tarbell at the meeting.  Mr. Tarbell originally requested that the Council adopt a TTP-Free Zone ordinance but the FAC was more comfortable with a resolution opposing the Fast-Track of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement, TAFTA, and TiSA.

Attached is the information presented by Mr. Tarbell, along with the proposed Resolution.  The FAC recommends approval of the Resolution.
