Summary
City Council Resolution 3783-2015, dated February 9, 2015, authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Wood Joint Studio for the manufacturing of the Council Dais and Town Hall Lectern. The Town Hall Dais Council Ad Hoc Committee requested that Wood Joint Studio determine if a locally sourced wood could be obtained that would enhance the Dais and Lectern. Wood Joint Studio notified City Staff that Madrone, sourced from Mendocino County was available and appropriate for use in in the Dais and Lectern.
Funds for the addition of madrone for the Dais and Lectern, as directed by Council, will be appropriated from the Waste Management Community Benefit Fund, which has a current balance of $187,208.
