Adopt City Council Resolution Adopting the City of Fort Bragg Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program
Summary
The City Council approved the 2014-2019 Economic Development Strategy on April 28, 2014. The Strategy identifies various actions related to business retention and expansion. Staff has developed a Fort Bragg Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program that provides specific implementation steps for City Council's goals related to business expansion and retention. The BRE Program includes four primary elements, the first of which is formal adoption by City Council Resolution of the BRE Program. Staff brought the draft BRE Program to the Community Development Committee (CDC) in May of 2014 for review, and based on CDC feedback, a revised draft was presented to City Council on July 14, 2014. As requested by City Council, a Resolution to adopt the BRE Program as presented at the July 14, 2014, meeting is provided. The BRE Program is attached to the Resolution as Exhibit A.
