Summary
The Pavement Management Program (PMP) is updated every three years, as a work element in Mendocino Council of Governments (MCOG) transportation planning program. The consultant prepares a PMP for each of the local agencies in MCOG and uses data from field surveys and GIS software to develop a pavement condition index (PCI). The PCI is used to aid agency decision making for programming street rehabilitation projects to ensure the investment of funds results in maximum benefit.
