Reject Claim of Rex Gressett
Summary
On January 8, 2018, the City received a claim from Rex Gressett. The claim was for money damages against the City of Fort Bragg in connection with damage to claimant's boat, "San Juan" in the Noyo Harbor that occurred on December 5th (no year stated). The claim was forwarded to Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund (REMIF) for review and direction. REMIF's Liability Claims Administrator reviewed the claim and recommended that it be rejected by the City Council. A copy of the claim and the proposed Notice of Rejection are attached for Council's review. If the claim is rejected, the City Clerk will issue the Notice of Rejection and advise REMIF that said claim has been rejected.
