Summary
On January 22, 2018, the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg is to consider adoption of Ordinance No. 935-2018, said ordinance having been introduced for first reading (by title only and waiving further reading of the text) on January 8, 2018.
The proposed ordinance will amend Section 14.04.030 [Water Billing - Failure to Pay - Action] of Chapter 14.04 [Water Department and Regulations] of Title 14 [Water and Sewers] of the Fort Bragg Municipal Code. This amendment clarifies that water billing periods and delinquency dates shall be established and fixed by City Council resolution.
If adopted, Ordinance No. 935-2018 will become effective February 21, 2018. A companion resolution setting water billing periods and delinquency rates will then be presented to Council for adoption on the Consent Calendar on March 12, 2018.
