Review City Council Appointment Materials and Provide Direction to Staff
Summary
The City Council agreed that the best approach to fill the City Councilmember seat left vacant by Will Lee was by appointment. An Ad Hoc Committee was appointed by then Vice Mayor Norvell, consisting of Councilmember Peters and Councilmember Albin-Smith. The Ad Hoc Committee developed a simplified application and a flyer for recruiting proposes. Those documents have been reviewed by staff. The Committee would like to get input from the full Council so that the documents can be distributed as soon as possible.
