Adopt by Title Only and Waive the Second Reading of Ordinance 954-2019 Establishing a Capacity Fee Deferral Program
Summary
On November 25, 2019, the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg is to consider adoption of Ordinance No. 954-2019, said ordinance having been introduced for first reading (by title only and waiving further reading of the text) on November 12, 2019.
The proposed ordinance adds Chapter 15.36 (Deferral of Development Impact Fees) to Title 15 (Buildings and Construction) of the Fort Bragg Municipal Code. The proposed ordinance establishes a capacity fee deferral program to allow developers an opportunity to defer payment of water and wastewater capacity fees to ease financial barriers to development and to encourage development projects within City limits.If adopted, Ordinance 954-2019 will become effective December 25, 2019.
