Summary
The California Public Employees' Retirement System requires that contracting agencies, which includes the City of Fort Bragg, make local determinations regarding whether a public safety employee is disabled for purposes of retirement and whether the disability is "industrial" as defined by Public Employees' Retirement Law. The Resolution delegating authority to the City Manager is being updated to also include the positions of Interim City Manager and Acting City Manager as the authorized official(s) with the City of Fort Bragg.
