Title

Adopt City Council Resolution Approving Updates to the City of Fort Bragg Personnel Rules and Regulations

Summary
On September 17, 2020 Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law Senate Bill 1383, which expanded the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) family and medical leave law under Government Code section 129945.2 effective January 1, 2021.  Those additional employee protections are a matter of right for employees and have been incorporated into the City's proposed update to the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations.

On September 21, 2020, the City Council declared the second Monday in October to be Indigenous Peoples’ Day instead of Columbus Day.  This change is incorporated into the City's proposed update to the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations.
